Funeral or Celebration of Life

A Thoughtful, Personal Goodbye

Firstly, if you're here because you've lost a loved one, I am truly sorry for your loss. This is such a difficult time, and I want to offer support in creating a ceremony that feels right for you and your family.

As a Bristol-based funeral and celebration of life celebrant, my role is to listen—to hear your stories, understand your loved one’s life, and craft a heartfelt tribute that truly honours them. Whether you’re looking for a traditional farewell or a special celebration of their life, I’ll ensure the ceremony reflects their personality, values, and the love they shared with the world.

You’re not alone in this—I’m here to help you create a meaningful, personal goodbye.

The Service:

  • All the consultations and warm conversations to learn about your loved one’s life and legacy.

  • Personalised ceremony planning for a ceremony that reflects your loved one’s unique presence and personality.

  • Crafting a script that captures the essence of their journey.

  • As many or as little special elements you would like; readings, music, or rituals to make the ceremony meaningful.

  • Guidance and support in whatever way works for you and yours.

  • On tap chats whenever you need!

  • Day-of coordination, arriving early to coordinate and ensure everything runs smoothly.

  • Follow-up support with continued support after the ceremony as you navigate your grief.

  • A keepsake beautifully printed copy of the ceremony script for your family to cherish.

The Plan:

We'll begin with a heartfelt conversation about your loved one. I'll be there to listen intently as you share their unique life story. And of course, I'll share a little bit about myself and how I can support you during this time.

Once we've connected, we’ll arrange a meeting so I can hear all the meaningful details. I'll then take some time to craft a ceremony that's truly reflective of your loved one's life.

On the day of the ceremony, with compassion, genuine care, and overflowing respect and love, I'll deliver a carefully crafted tribute that I promise will be full of love.

My ultimate goal?

Locations

As a celebrant, I often recommend choosing a celebration of life venue that reflects the unique personality and passions of your loved one.

The setting should feel warm, inviting, and meaningful, whether it’s a serene garden, a cosy local pub, a rustic barn, or even their favourite community hall. Think about places where cherished memories were made or where their spirit shines through.

Here are a couple of recommendations but I am happy to travel across Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and beyond for your Celebration of Life Ceremony.

Arnos Vale.

A beautiful one-of-a-kind heritage spot right in the heart of Bristol, with 45 acres of gorgeous Victorian garden to explore.

Westerleigh Crematorium

Nestled in the South Gloucestershire countryside, Westerleigh offers a peaceful setting.
